1. Persons who have reached the age of 17 are entitled to obtain a category AM license.
2. Persons who have reached the age of 18 are entitled to obtain a category A1 license and persons who have reached the age of 17.5 are entitled to obtain an A1 student license.
3. Individuals who have reached the age of 20 are entitled to obtain a category A2 license, provided that they have held the A1 driving category for at least two years.
4. Individuals who have reached the age of 22 years have the right to obtain a category A license, provided that they have held the A2 driving category for at least two years.
-Category AM Mopeds
-Category A1 Motorcycles with a maximum cylinder capacity of 125 cubic centimeters, a maximum power of 11KW and a power-to-weight ratio of less than 0.1 kW/kg
-Category A2 motorcycles with a maximum power of 35 KW and a maximum power/weight ratio of 0.2 KW/kg, which do not come from a vehicle with a power greater than twice its power.
-Category A Motorized two-wheelers with or without sidecar Motorized tricycles whose power exceeds 15KW
FOR CYPRUS CITIZENS
The following must be provided:
• Application form for the issuance of a learner driver's license, (TOM
7D)
• Two recent passport-sized photographs
• Identity Card
• Certificate of successful pre-examination (First time only)
• Expired student permit (Only for student permit renewal)
• Expired driver's license (Only for driver's license renewal)
· In cases of renewal of a Regular Driving License, for applicants over 65 years of age or persons with a physical disability, a Health Certificate from a doctor is required.
FOR CITIZENS FROM EUROPEAN UNION MEMBER COUNTRIES
The following must be provided:
• Application form for the issuance of a learner driver's license, (TOM
7D)
• Two recent passport-sized photographs
• Identity Card of the Country of Origin or Passport
• Yellow Paper -YELLOW PAPER
• Social Security Statement for the last 6 months
or last 6 months electricity or water bill
certified by the competent Authority with an official seal.
• Certificate of successful pre-examination. (Only for the first time)
• Expired student permit. (Only for student permit renewal)
• Expired driving license. (Only for driver's license renewal)
FOR THIRD-COUNTRY CITIZENS
The following must be provided:
• Application form for the issuance of a learner driver's license, (TOM
7D)
• Two recent passport-sized photographs
• PINK CARD-RESIDENCE PERMIT
• Social Security Statement for the last 6 months
or last 6 months electricity or water bill
certified by the competent Authority with an official seal.
• Certificate of successful pre-examination. (Only for the first time)
• Expired student permit. (Only for student permit renewal)
• Expired driving license. (Only for driver's license renewal)
