GENERAL INFORMATION

The learner's driving license for category B (passenger vehicle up to 3.5 tons gross weight and eight passengers) can be issued from 17.5 years of age, after an oral examination at the offices of the TOM.

Please contact us for the exact procedure for issuing a category B learner's permit.

After the student's license is issued, you can attend driving lessons and request a date for a practical test.

You can take the practical test to obtain a regular category B license once you have reached the age of 18.

FOR CYPRUS CITIZENS

The following must be provided:

• Application form for the issuance of a learner driver's license, (TOM

7D)

• Two recent passport-sized photographs

• Identity Card

• Certificate of successful pre-examination (First time only)

• Expired student permit (Only for student permit renewal)

• Expired driver's license (Only for driver's license renewal)

· In cases of renewal of a Regular Driving License, for applicants over 70 years of age or persons with a physical disability, a Health Certificate from a doctor is required..

FOR CITIZENS FROM EUROPEAN UNION MEMBER COUNTRIES

The following must be provided:

• Application form for the issuance of a learner driver's license, (TOM

7D)

• Two recent passport-sized photographs

• Identity Card of the Country of Origin or Passport

• Yellow Paper -YELLOW PAPER

• Social Security Statement for the last 6 months

or last 6 months electricity or water bill

certified by the competent Authority with an official seal.

• Certificate of successful pre-examination. (Only for the first time)

• Expired student permit. (Only for student permit renewal)

• Expired driving license. (Only for driver's license renewal)

FOR THIRD-COUNTRY CITIZENS

The following must be provided:

• Application form for the issuance of a learner driver's license, (TOM

7D)

• Two recent passport-sized photographs

• PINK CARD-RESIDENCE PERMIT

• Social Security Statement for the last 6 months

or last 6 months electricity or water bill

certified by the competent Authority with an official seal.

• Certificate of successful pre-examination. (Only for the first time)

• Expired student permit. (Only for student permit renewal)
